  My favourite place to eat. Great homely cooking. Staff are brilliant. Owners so welcoming. Once there I feel so relaxed I don't want to leave. Oh and they serve scrumpy and the food portions are great. Makes hungry horse big plate look like a starter. Have the mixed grill if you dare.

  Deservedly popular, down to earth and welcoming. Legendary fry-ups, well kept beer and cider, nice outdoor seating under cover. Great for adults and children of all ages - but order toast unless you like literally deep-fried bread.

  Me and my mum often go here for just a hot chocolate or something. It is a brilliant place with lovely staff. We often have a chat when ordering. It has a great choice of seats and a lovely view by the river with an indoor restaurant and a marquee which is open in the either and covered with heaters in the winter and a boat with tables for those smaller families and couples who visit. There is a great menu and a great choice of food and drinks. We love it!

  Excellent early evening meal. Happy and welcoming staff. A variety of seating options: indoors, outdoors, waterside, and even tables on board a static boat! Hilarious menu, full of jokes, quotes, and other asides! Staff dealt with my allergy well. Food came quickly, and was well prepared and tasty. A lovely place to go, loads of regulars, a party vibe. Will go again.
