- 4 / 5By LBA good pub with a well-enough-stocked bard. It's slightly let down by the food which is typical 'pub grub' fair of deep fried scampi etc and the bar staff aren't always the quickest. What sets The Barge Inn apart is it;s magnificent beer garden...which is essentially just the banks of the canal. You'll struggle to find a better beer garden in town for those summer Saturdays!May 12, 2017

Great for having a pint and watching a match, or relaxing in the sun by the canal. Also serves food in quieter back rooms in front of an authentic open wood burning fire.April 13, 2017
